Vinarov Andrei Zinovyevich

Doctor of Medical Sciences, chairman of the Association of specialists of conservative treatment in urology, professor at the department of urology, deputy director of research at the Scientific Research Institute of Uronephrology and Reproductive Health of the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "I.M. Sechenov Moscow State Medical University" of the Health Care Ministry of Russia.

In 1979, Andrei Zinovyevich graduated from the 1st Moscow Medical Institute (later Moscow Medical Academy and the 1st Moscow State Medical University) named after I.M. Sechenov with honours degree. In 1981, he finished his residency training. Later he worked at the Urology hospital and at the department of urology of the 1st MMI (MMA).

From 2010 till present he is the deputy director of research at the Scientific Research Institute of Uronephrology and Reproductive Health of the 1st Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov.

Among the main priorities of his scientific and practical activity are the treatment of prostate adenoma and prostate cancer, chronic prostatitis; kidney, ureteral and bladder stones, kidney and bladder tumors, erectile dysfunction, urinary tract infections, urethral stricture, etc.

Andrei Zinovyevich is a co-author of more than 200 scientific publications, including 11 monographs. He is a board member of the Russian society of urologists, the Bureau of the Russian Society of oncourologists and the Bureau of Professional Association of Andrologists of Russia, a member of the European Association of Urology.
