Рак полового члена (РПЧ) является редкой опухолью. За 2007 год в России было зарегистрировано возникновение 409 новых случаев рака полового члена, что составляет уровень заболеваемости 0,18% на 100 тыс. населения за 2007 год (1). В Европе и Северной Америке  этот параметр составляет 0,4 – 0,6 % на 100 тыс. населения (2).

 Учитывая низкую заболеваемость, окончательная тактика локального лечения ранних форм РПЧ не выработана.  Выделяют два основных подхода: 1. радикальное хирургическое лечение; 2. химиолучевую терапию.

 Сложность проведения ДЛТ обусловлена необходимостью использования индивидуального фиксирования полового члена пациента, технологического и дозиметрического подхода в планировании и лечении данной группы пациентов.
