Viral infections can be risk factors for prostate carcinogenesis. Based on the literature review, an assumption can be made about the pathogenetic role of viral infections in prostate carcinogenesis. Further study of this problem is required, the solution of which can make a great contribution to the diagnosis and prevention of prostate cancer</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Рак предстательной железы – одно из наиболее распространенных злокачественных заболеваний у мужчин. Вирусные инфекции могут являться факторами риска в канцерогенезе в предстательной железе. На основании обзора литературы можно сделать предположение о патогенетической роли вирусных инфекций в канцерогенезе в предстательной железе.
