To predict the potential complexity of partial nephrectomy and to reduce the degree of subjectivity in choosing the volume and method of surgical procedure, different groups of researchers proposed a significant number of concepts for evaluating renal tumours. The R.E.N.A.L. nephrometry score is one of the first but remains relevant and is based on a set of anatomical characteristics. This score allows to classify renal neoplasms in a structured and standardized way. This article presents a method for evaluating the parameters of R.E.N.A.L. nephrometry score, as well as a brief literature review of its prognostic significance.</p>
В статье представлена методика оценки каждого из параметров, входящих в состав представленной нефрометрической системы, а также приведен краткий обзор литературы ее прогностической значимости.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>R.E.N.A.L. nephrometry score</kwd><kwd>classification of renal tumours</kwd><kwd>anatomical characteristics of renal tumours</kwd><kwd>partial nephrectomy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>нефрометрическая система R.E.N.A.L.</kwd><kwd>классификация опухолей почек</kwd><kwd>анатомические характеристики опухолей почек</kwd><kwd>резекция почки</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">State of oncological care in Russia in 2018.
