In 2005, 15,733 new cases were registered in the Russian Federation. Total life expectancy of patients with advanced form of the disease is around one year unless patients respond to treatment with available late stage therapeutic agents. Therefore, delaying or preventing disease recurrence in patients with early-stage disease is critical. Oncophage was evaluated as an adjuvant treatment after nephrectomy in patients with high relapse risk in a randomized, multicenter, international Phase III study. At the moment Oncophage can be regarded as effective treatment in the adjuvant setting in the management of renal cancer patients with intermediate prognosis after radical nephrectomy.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>.</p></trans-abstract><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">1.
